The Marathon is a Convertible Child Seat with LATCH that can be used rear facing for children 5 to 33 pounds and forward facing up to 65 pounds*. The child's height should be between 18 and 49 inches.

We purchased this after a few friends swore by Britax. It is easy to install and use. The straps don't ever get twisted (I've heard this is a problem with other brands). The fabrics are cute too. user review

I purchased two of these for my sons because the reviews said that it was very safe and comfortable. One was older and still needed a car seat and the other was younger and larger. He needed a seat that would last for a longer period of time given his weight. He is 40 pounds and still using it. I like that he is in it because I know that he is strapped in and safe. The best part is that it is so comfortable that he often falls asleep on long rides! user review

This is a fabulous car seat. My daughter fits in it very comfortably and ever since she's been old enough to face forward, she loves looking out the window. The seat sits up high enough so she can see every school bus, blue car and bike we pass. user review
