This is one of Dutailier's most popular gliders. It comes standard with Comfort Plus cushions, and is shown above in Natural Maple Finish and 4088 fabric.

New Feature! The Dutailier 978 model glider is now available with Auto-lock. The Auto-lock mechanizm makes the task of getting in and out of chairs that much safer by automatically locking the chair when a person transfers their weight when exiting the glider-as soon as the weight is transferred to the chair arms. Dutailier’s Auto-Lock mechanism remains engaged until an individual’s entire weight has been transferred over the entire seat. This limits the potential for the glider to start moving prematurely while sitting down. A must for elderly and nursing mothers. This option is available with glide only model and glide and multiposition lock model.

Comfort Plus cushions are meticulously designed to provide the ultimate in comfort seating: the super soft fibre shell resembles down; the back cushion is made of convoluted foam and provides optimal air circulation and lasting smoothness, and the high density seat cushion foam guarantees maximum durability.

Select to add a gliding ottoman Model 901 for extra comfort. Ottomans with the nursing option are equipped with a hideaway retractable footrest that provides that perfect comfortable position when feeding baby or simply reading.

• 901 195 - square base with ergonomic plastic nursing footrest
• 901 196 - square base with smooth vinyl covered nursing footrest
